ABOUT THE MONTICELLO POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Monticello Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency that proudly provides patrol, criminal investigation and public safety services to the citizens of Monticello.  We employ 11 sworn police officers and 2 non-sworn administrative personnel.  All officers are graduates of certified police academies and are certified as peace officers by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council. 

Our officers and employees are dedicated to our community and to those who live, work and visit here.  We are proud to be entrusted with helping to protect our community and we are committed to working with our city officials, other public safety agencies, public and private organizations, and concerned individuals to maintain and improve the safety of our community.
